Visiting Scholar & Fellow Programs
V-SENSE hosts visiting scholars and fellows from academic institutions and research organizations worldwide. These short-term positions (typically 3–12 months) provide opportunities for sabbatical research, collaborative projects, and cross-institutional knowledge exchange.
Visiting Arrangements
- Sabbatical visits: Faculty researchers taking research leave from home institutions
- Research exchanges: Postdocs or scientists collaborating on joint projects
- Professional development: Researchers developing new expertise areas
- Short-term consulting: Industry or government researchers on specific projects
- Program duration: Flexible from 1 month to 12+ months
Typical Responsibilities
- Conduct collaborative research with V-SENSE faculty and teams
- Contribute expertise to ongoing research projects
- Mentor graduate students and postdocs
- Present seminars and share knowledge across the institute
- Author publications and conference papers from collaborative work
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between home institution and V-SENSE
Requirements
- PhD and established research record
- Clear research goals and collaborative project scope
- Ability to secure funding from home institution or external sources
